heyz..i've been away (from my blog) for such a longggg time..anyway..

i cut my hair!!

this was before..super long right? nearly reach my waist..actually, i think reach my waist adi..too long..messy and hard to maintain..use so much shampoo everytime..tsk tsk..

this is during..super scary la let this la-la looking guy cut!!but then i heard he won awards before and etc..and he's the manager of this branch of Top Image, summore the friend who brought me (karen) highly recommended him..so i suppose he's good laa..

this was how i looked like after cutting..then i went and see karen (who was shopping elsewhere) and she said i should have shorter fringe..so we went back to the shop and requested..

and this is how i look like now! =)

besides the fact that my frindge keeps making my eyes itchy, i actually quite like the way i look like now..some say i look even younger now..as if i dont look young enough usually..aih..

so i wear a hairband..to prevent the hair from falling down.. =D

Hillsongs was FANTA-BULOUS!!! its so awesome and life changing that i'm gonna have a different perspective of life from this point onwards..it has made me realise so many things, struck me so many times right in the heart, and challenged me to make so many new resolutions..who said resolutions have to be made beginning of the year? after so many impactful sermons, i'm making them now, right in the middle of the year!

And also, JD is so lengchai ok! too bad my one and only pic with him is so super blur..but nonetheless, i'm veryyyyyy happy (and was blushing) that i have a solo pic with him!! haha..so happyy~~

I'm actually feeling so lazy to update my blog, eventhough i'm relatively much much more relaxed and free since exams are over..ok i'll just update pics..lazy to type..

exams have been so stressing and i'm soooo glad its over!! look at my colourful notes.. =)

exam time is when we all no time to cook for each other so we all cook own our food..but one day, i realised my housemates looked very pretty together in different colours!! haha

Immediately after exams, we went to millpoint gelare to celebrate yijia and yityeng's bday..ahh happy times.. =)

Poor Innocent Me

Today i went to carousel with yijia, wanted to watch iron man coz heard that it's quite good leh..so yijia checked the on9 hoytts thingee, and said there was a movie scheduled for 1pm, so i rushed back from class after 12pm, even though sooo banyak ppl stayed back to 'ask questions' to mr lengchai wolfgang..blek..

Went to carousel, reach the cinema, and realised that on that big-board-thing-that-tells-what-time-got-what-movie and realise that there's only movie for 12.15, 3, 5pm etc....we were like super char dau can!! ok fine..so we went to eat 'good food' (meaning not in food court) to compensate for the pekchek-ness of having to go carousel again some other day..so we chose han's cafe, partly also bcoz its the nearest to the cinema and we were both starving..

Looking at the menu, i thought tomyum would be good since quite long didnt eat good tom yum adi (no offence teoyijia.. =P) but what a disappointment it was!! it was like overly sour, make my stomach and in fact my whole body like sour sour lidat..so uncomfortable..

Then after lunch we went to walk walk a while, and then decided to tapau my fav choc cake from fast edds, thinking we'll fast fast go back and eat, so that the ice cream will not melt..when they 'presented' the cake to me in its container, it was such a huggggeeeeee piece that the fast edds ppl themselves cannot close the container! pass me the lid expect me to close it myself! it was like wayyyy higher than the height of the container!! so i had to squuaasssshhhh the cake and made it penyek..ended up when i reached home and opened the container, the top of the cake looked like this:

Back track abit..upon reaching the bus stop, we realised we missed the bus by like 4 mins!! wah lauuuuu pekchek lor have to wait so long with all the stuff we werre carrying, and most importantly, my ice cream was melted and it was leaking into the oranges that i bought! what a sight man..

But the highlight has to be this:

Know how i got it?? the poor innocent me as always, (so not.. =P) was sitting and minding my own business in the bus when the bus reached this bus stop where there was this ah-bo aunty sitting, so the bus stopped for her, opened its door, but she was like talking to the bus driver and didnt want to come up. so the driver closed the door and wanted to move off, when she suddenly shouted "WEI!!" the bus stopped with a jerk and she want to naik duwan to naik make me so pekchek coz i want to get home asap and clean up my oranges and eat my cake + melted ice cream!

FiNALLY she decided she'd come on board, and so she paid and she did..while walking towards the seats behind me, she accidentally bumped into my hand, which was happily placed within my seat boundary, not exceeding the imaginary line of the arm rest..so i dont care la, i mean..ppl can make mistakes and accidentally bump into me wan ma..and summore that aunty look so kusut masai and walk terumbang ambing lidat..i forgive her.. BUT THEN HOR!! wah lau she didnt only NOT apologize, but she whack my hand instead and shouted "HEY WATCH UR HANDS!"

WAH super SIONG can!! i was like H-E-L-L-O like it was ur fault wei and shot her a what-did-i-do look! but i was kinda scared also la..coz she looks like she can bite my head off so angry coz the driver 'didnt wait for her' konon.. actually more scared coz she looked like thousand years never bathe i scared she will hug me and i will kena some infectious bacterial disease..

Then luckily she left me and continued to membebel behind me..she even asked some of the other passengers to shut up and stop talking! so scary mannn..so happy when we finally reached vick house bus stop..quickly left the bus man..

I felt very geli la the whole time after she whack my hand but i didnt dare to look at it coz scared she will think i'm complaining and she will whack me another time, this time harder or what..so i diam diam only..WAH when i reached home hor! i examined my hand and it had like one long scratch across my arm mannn..this aunty horrrrrrr............................................no words to describe her random-ness man..

Then after that i IMMEDIATELY went to have a HOT shower, despite the hot weather, and my hot temper.. to kill off the germs/bacteria/virus/microorganisms in general..

I know la i'm very paranoid..where got scratch 1 scratch lidat will get disease wan..but it doesnt help that every day and night for dunno how many weeks i've been listening to lectures and i lectures about different bacteria and how they infect humans and their pathogenecity and all the scary diseases they can cause to us! can die wan u know all those diseases!!

Ok la i'm clean now that's the main point..i'm so cham today man..ke lian ke lian me abit plzz..

Conclusion: i shall sit window seat next time in the bus! everyone else plz dont rebut with me!

I'm having a one week 'study' break..yea study..sien..anywayyyy...

for pharmaceutics last week, i made suppositories.. no idea what that is? its a kind of medication u stick it up ur a** if u have difficulty swallowing pills, or u need medication down there, say for haemorrhoids or something lidat..and they look like these:

cheahyen and i went to inez's house one day to see her digital piano, and guess what, inez has a dog! and his name is momoe! cute is cute la..but HYPER!! jump here jump there..so scared it'll bite me..cheahyen loves it though..

anyway, this is the digital piano, which i'm gonna buy from inez soon!! yay!! =D its like suppperrrr nice cannnnn!!! ~lalala i likeeee..

and becoz we're in choir for easter, we had to find clothes to match the dress code..so i went to jac and cheahyen's house and dug through theirs and janica's clothes!

but see see nothing fit us..so we went shopping after that..and while in the car, i saw this kid, holding a kangaroo soft toy, but what striked me is, her t shirt!

I sincerely dont understand why mr wolfgang can be so boring. Yes i sincerely mean i have a lecturer named wolfgang. I sincerely cant help but to fall asleep in his class. he talks so sincerely monotonous its so hard not to zone out after 10 minutes max! I think he sincerely doesnt like chemistry otherwise he'd at least try to make pharm chem sound more interesting (teo 2008). and i cant sincerely agree more with her. So sorry but i think i now sincerely dont like pharm chem now, what with boring mr wolfgang and too-much-animation-in-his-slides mr paul.

In 2 days, i shall be leaving my home in ipoh, and fly back to perth for another year (at least) of slaving to books..
All the packing is tiring, but i'm anticipating going back to perth.. =)

Ahh..after 1 year not celebrating chinese new year in Ipoh, being able to celebrate it this year is fantastic!! angpaus all alot, visiting, being visited and catching up with long lost relatives which i only see once a year (but now once in 2 years) and friends, eating wonderful home cooked chinese food, and watching the stack of movies that my bro burnt which i can only get when he comes back and that is so not often..

i went to genting-kl..
i stayed at home after that..
i made cny cookies..
i watched lotsa and lotsa movies..
i celebrated my godbro's bday which ended with his car tire going into a longkang and we spent about 2 hours getting it out..with the help of neighbours..
i went shopping..
i bought a new purse..and i like it very much except for the teddy bear in front of it..

Was chatting with my mum earlier, and we talked about some last time stuff, made me very emo emo..

then i was checking on some stuff when i ter-saw my old bday cards, given by church friends..and that made me remember the bday card i received last year, for my 19th bday! it was like the bestEST bday surprise EVER.. so far la at least..hehe..

i dug around for the card and after some time, found it among my other ausmat stuff..took it out, saw some familiar faces..and began reading the wishes that sooooo many ppl wrote..so touching..

so nostalgic..and i miss all these ppl..esp those whom i wont be able to see this holiday..ahh..sometimes i wish intec life continued longer..without the studying part of coz..and without the crappy ausmat cafe food..and without the dress codes..but most of all, without the superly annoying guards!!

maybe its coz its the end of the year and its when u start thinking back on what u've done throughout the whole year..but weird ya..i've just spent this whole year in perth..!

not that i'm saying perth friends are not good u know..just saying that well, as of now, i'm missing college friends..hee..

Now to other matters..i went to kl for a few days for christmas!! =)

and i stopped taking pictures coz 'some' ppl started calling me 'jacoon' for taking pics in the mamak..bluek..

and when i came home, i had THIS waiting for me!!

We just bought a new mini home theatre!! =) LOVE IT TO THE MAX!!

might not have sound system as good as a sony might give..but its good enough lor ok! the woofer is like "doooom doooom doooom"..bass is chunted man!!

Attention! my house is now green!! GREEN! its like so ugly lor ok!!!

(lavender white to be precise)

and when we regretted after seeing the living room and dining room this colour, we went and changed colour to pinkish white (orchid white to be precise)..and we wanted the wet and dry kitchen and my piano room to be that colour..so the smart painter started painting the kitchens in that colour and we left him to it..after he left and when we were cleaning up, i realised that my piano room is green also!! i'm like WHAT!!!??? asked my mum and she said she also didnt realise until the fella painted nearly the whole thing!!

i tell u.....i sabar this painter very super long adi..how many days he did work for us his face was blacker than charcoal!! everytime he wanted a new tin of paint he'll yell "hey! open the door and pass the whatever-colour paint!" no please no thank u..no nothing! just pure orders!! hey who's the boss and who's the client now man??!! i'm my parent's daughter! so i'm client also ok!

on the dot 12pm he leaves for lunch, on the dot 5pm he stops work..lazy bum! and he works suuppeerrr slow! purposely wan i tell u..coz he's paid by the day! 1 day 100bucks can!! for an 8-5 job with 12pm lunch break and 3pm tea break! we didnt even GIVE him the break! he just disappeared! my mum and i even helped paint the grill door and other doors ok!! otherwise he might just have used another 2 or 3 days! omg cannot tahan..i told my mum "Does he have a boss? let's complain to his boss!!" and she said.."too bad..he's his own boss.." my gosh if he's lidat i wonder how his workers are..

that stupid fella knew we regretted choosing green but he STILL used green!! reason being the kitchens needed the whole tin of orchid white! finish paint can tell us we can go buy wan maaa..and he said there was still 1 more lavender white paint, WHICH WE TOLD HIM WE WANTED TO EXCHANGE WITH THE SHOP TO ORCHID WHITE COZ IT WASNT OPENED!!

He knew wan lor i tell u!! he knew!! but he's just so evillllll..and when my mum asked him about he just said "green la! green nice ma..! aiya i do until lidat adi! very sanfu arr!! green la!" hey whose house is this now??

went out with sue and jenn today..it was fun..went to mph to grab some books, did some charity (shared and bought a book for some unfortunate kid for his xmas present).. and while doing that, sue discovered this very interesting looking book! so i took a pic of it.. =)

its about this korean kid names jia whose mum died at child birth and whose dad gone somewhere somewhere i cant really remember..haha..basically the sad story of jia..hahaha.. =D and i'm laughing..ok i super insensitive now..

today renovation of my house porch begins..the whole house is super noisy becoz of the drilling, and super dusty bcoz of the dust (duh..)

mum tore her hamstring few weeks ago and granma has warts on her leg..so both cant really walk very well..so i shall just be a good girl and help around the house, running here and there when they call me..and today, i OFFERED to cook dinner for everyone!! haha..and therefore, i introduced them to pasta!! =)

since uncle from belgium bought a packet of pasta for us last year and we still havent eaten it, i decided that i'd cook that and just go to jusco and grab a bottle of pasta sauce..see see the pasta sauce section in jusco is like sooooo small!! just 1 tiny corner only man!! super limited choices..wanted carbonara but dont even have it..in the end i dont really know what i bought..its just white like carbonara..but it totally doesnt taste like that lor ok..

so anyway, i cooked..and it looked like this.. =)

mum didnt like it..says it tastes weird..dad just ate silently, but said maybe granma wouldnt like the taste, so advise me to give her just abit to let her try it out 1st..but what did granma say? (in canto) "nice wor jiahuei!! wa i see u cook so fast also can good hor..u always cook this kind of thing wan ar? good ar good ar..fast and nice to eat..haaa..i wonder what they use to make this kind of thing ya..what is this gravy ya? u make wan ar? oh.. u buy in bottle wan izit..mmm..icic..nice ar nice.."

ahh..its hols time and i've been shopping like mad! for myself and for friends..souvenirs and all..spent like soooo much..
kinda feeling emo now..so many things have happened here in perth and so many friends i've made..some went back to hometown adi..and when its time for me to leave (which is monday) i shall be missing everyone!!! so everyone going back to msia come ipoh to visit me k!!!!
then i think, its just 1st year and i'm already so 'emotionally attacahed' to everyone here, how am i gonna go back FOR GOOD after 4 years? make it 3 now that 1 year is down..
wow..coming to think of it, this year really passed real fast..really really fast..i still feel very much like a freshie..ask me how to go to the city and my answer is still "i dunno wor.." sit bus number what? "i also dunno wor.." and i still cant believe i'll be entering the REAL WAR, which is 2nd year, real soon..i wonder if i can survive when 1st year is already like 'kill-me!!' experience..but by God's grace i shall survive!!!
ahh..emo betul..
packing is so not fun lor ok..plus the fact that i have so super banyak stuff!! pack pack pack so long also tak habis habis wan!! i sambil fold clothes sambil cursing myself "why on earth did u buy so many clothes??!!" ahh..i shall try to curb this bad habit..coz end up i shall be the one who have to wash them, fold them, pack them when i move out next year..

i just had a super rush-for-time day..from 9-11, rushed to finish 3 pharmaceutical preparations, which was terribly no time..resulting in my calamine lotion having lumps in them coz i didnt triturate (mix) the ingredients properly..my suggested dose was superly overdose!!i didnt know what happened to me..normally i didnt have problems with doses..it must be the anxiety..making me give a dose higher than the already-overdosed dose given by the doctor..that's already a 0. aih.....traumatizing..and today's session is supposedly a mock exam to help us with the real prac exam next week..aih..i think it scared me more than help me..then at 1, had this tute class which the tutor talked soo slowwwww..ended at 2 when i was supposed to be having my human bio prac exam!! rushed to the com lab where the exam was to be held..sat down and everyone was already was waiting..took out the pen and the tutor said "ok we'll wait for 2 minutes and we'll start".. took a breather, and after 2 mins, rushed through the whole 1 hour paper with 14 long questions!! lucky it was an open book exam..gosh i flipped the book like sooo fast man..!! then suddenly the tutor said "10 more minutes" and i was "OH SHIT I STILL HAVE 4 QUESTIONS!!" it was rush rush and more rush and lucky i managed to finish those 4 questions..ahh..coming out from the lab i already know i have a few mistakes..but nvm la..i'm relieved that it's finished..

coming home, supposed to take a rest and start studying for an assessment test tomoro, which is 20%!!! but suddenly yeefang happily yelled out that we have a house inspection tomoro!! meaning tonight have to clean the house..looks like have to rush through studies and somehow fit cleaning the bathroom in there somewhere..then tomoro, 8+ have to rush to the exam hall and rush through the 2 hour paper full of calculations..

what a fast-moving world we're living in now..blah...

for pharmaceutical biology prac this week, we had 12 "volunteers" to "donate" their urine for analysis..2 ppl to 1 urine-donater: 1 to do the analysis (wearing gloves, not touch anything other than experiment apparatus, not even pen or own lab coat) and the other as data recorder (does not wear gloves and does nothing but write and calculate).

after playing one-two-jus, it was decided that i lost and i had to be the analyser and yeefang is the data recorder and the urine donater is non other than our very own lukman..

it was disgusting..

but she had fun..

OF COZ LA!! ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS WRITE!!!!

u dunno how i feel yeefang.......

he had to drink 750ml of coffee

which is 4 cups....

every 20 minutes after that, he had to go to the toilet, bringing along a beaker to pee into, a big measuring cylinder to measure the volume, and a small measuring cylinder if the volume "produced" is too little to be measured by the big one..

the tutor also said, "guys, u can just straight pee into the measuring cylinder if u like..but for gurls..i think it would be easier to pee into the beaker 1st and then pour into the measuring cylinder.."

and the whole class laughed.......

this is me getting the pH of the urine..

and getting the reading of Na+ and K+ electrolytes..

There was this time when i was working on this benchtop and the guy next to me accidentally spilt his pee on the benchtop man!! it was like super concentrated yellow and disgusting!! i quickly "saved" lukman's bottle and urine and went far far away while the guy was like "shittt...shittt..." and started wiping the benchtop with alotttttttt of tissues..yuck!

this is another friend's "series" of urine from 0 minutes all the way to 100 minutes..i couldnt bear the sight of lukman's urine..so after i did the individual tests for each 20 mins, i threw the bottles away immediately..so lukman doesnt have his series.. =)

gosh this is so gross..and i'm now facing a bowl of soup which is the same colour as urine..yuckss..i shall stop drinking already or i shall puke..

this is the ultimate pathetic scenario.. i have to plan my own bday!!! why?? long story..

bcoz i sang for vick house's end of sem party last sem, the residence assistants (RAs) are asking me to sing again this time. and bcoz 'something' happened last sem after i sang, i have vowed that i wouldnt sing to this kind of audience anymore.. now no matter how many times i reject them, they keep coming up to me and persuade me..when i go to church (and 1 of them goes to the same church i go), they ask.. when i walk to uni and bump into 1 of them, they ask.. when i walk to the letter box to collect my letter , they ask summore! start offering me material stuff and what they can do to make me agree..offer to bring me to adventureland for free! like W-U-T-E-V-A ok..! i'm not wanting anything from them! its just personal that i duwan to sing! duwan mai duwan lor..why force??

and now u give me till friday to "think about it"? i think adi la ok..even if u give me till kingdom comes to think about it, the answer is still no!

suddenly this revelation comes that the end of sem party (3rd nov) is a day before my bday!! like wow!! so coincidental right?? so i went up to yeefang and said "hey..i know u're planning my bday..wuteva u're planning, can u change it to clash with the end of sem party?? like call ppl to come over! or get someone with a car to take me out!! bubble tea or whateva!! i just want to be OUT of vick house on the 3rd, with a VALID reason so that the RAs wont think i'm being rude trying to evade them on that night.."

so i've sorta 'planned' for stuff to happen on the night before my bday..yeefang even revealed that she wanted it to be a midnite thing..well thx yeefang, but no..put it a couple of hours earlier..i duwan to be here..

what a bday i will have this year..celebrate for escapade.. =S

for 3 days consecutively, i've been having craving for certain food..which is bad!!

on tuesday after badminton, at about 9pm ++, i was craving for ice cream..my friend had to fetch me all the way to mcd and i got a mcflurry!! super long didnt eat adi ok!! nearly forgot how mcflurry taste like man..

on wednesday, i went to ams' mamak night on an friend's invitation. since he's the advisor of ams, he could walk around the place like he owned it, and ppl start giving him free food. he did offer us packs of maggi goreng, plastic bags of papadem (or however u spell them), cups of teh tarik blablablabla..but since i ate dinner before going, i wasnt in the mood for food..stupidly enough, once i reached home and started sitting down doing work, i began feeling itchy mouthed..wanted to munch on something. that was when i regretted not taking the maggi goreng he offered..they would have made such good supper, considering the fact that i havent been eating instant noodles for a super super long time..like months ok!! i've been eating healthy food, in other words.. =) but on that night, i couldnt resist the temptation adi..so i went around the house scouting for maggi..asked yeefang, but she happily finished her supply adi.. asked yijia, and luckily she had 1 miserable packet left!! wonderful!! immediately cooked and ate it..

on thursday after doing grocery, walked past brumby's and this delicious-looking choc mud cake slice was just staring right at my face!! i just HAD to get it!! suddenly realise i havent been eating choc mud cake for quite some time adi also..probably the last time was last month or something..so i DID get it!! *happy*

i wonder if i would crave for something today..now that it is 1 past am..beginning to feel hungry..if this continues, i'm so gonna put on even more weight!! as if i dont have enough fats by now.. =S i should sleep NOW!

today was the ultimate disaster for my pharmaceutics prac session. why? coz i got 2 ZEROs out of 4 pharmaceuticals that i made!! 2 big fat 0 ok!! so terrible right?? but i'm quite ok with it actually..the supervisors seemed to think i was very depressed and started consoling me like i'm gonna burst into tears or what..

then when we were walking out of the lab, the fire alarm of the pharmacy building decided to ring!! so we fast fast left the building..and we saw others who were still busy making their products getting out of the building, still wearing their lab coats and safety goggles! it was a sight to see..

why am i so stupid?

i keep a folder of all the things u told me last time. all the sweet memories just came back when i reread them. i cherish them so much. felt all the love coming from the words. no matter how short the emails were, u had time for me.
then within a few emails, it all changed to something so sour. the only email i have left of u scholding me. the harsh words. breaks my heart. why did i even had the guts to open the folder and read the mails? after so long, i forgot how it felt to love, or to feel the hatred when u used those cruel words against me. Forgot the long cold war we had after suspicions arose and rumours started flying around. I bet u didnt realise they reached my ears.
u moved on. but i stayed around for quite some time. u might have thought i found it quite easy to forget and get on with life, those words coming from me. but in actual fact, i think it has been a harder road for me than for u.
now u treat me worse than a stranger. dont reply my messages, ignore my smses, pretend u cannot see me when i know u did. "I don't know why u have become like this" is what u said. i think this phrase would be more suitable if i said it to u now.
i am who i am today in this matter mainly because of u. if only u knew.

last last saturday my cell group with 2 other cell groups had a combine outing to araluen, a super nice garden full of tulips now that it is spring..and here and just some of the pics..got storyline wan u know!!

one day the princess decided to take a walk among her garden..

she thought life was very meaningless without a prince..and since she heard the fairytale of the frog prince, she decided to try her luck.....

just last saturday was the grace ball..in preparation for the ball, my housemates chose accessories for me..and dressed me up..

The other day I was in the bus going to the city with my friends and the bus was so crowded that we had to split the sitting and therefore cant sit together. I was sitting beside this seemingly harmless man..then all of a sudden he started talking to me:
Man: Hello where are u from?
Me: Malaysia
Man: oh which part? Is it k-k-k..kl?
Me: not quite..abit to ther north of kl. In perak.
Man: perak??how do u spell that?can I find that on the map?
Me: P-E-R-A-K..yea I guess u can find it on the map..
Man: oh P-E-R-A-K..P-E-R-A-K..P-E-R-A-K *starts mumbling the spelling to himself over and over again..*
Me: *wants to take out the mp3 and listen but thinks its very rude*

Man: oh that’s great! I mean, why are we Australians sending armies in there for?? It’s the bloody US’s war! Not ours..! …blablabla.. *starts talking so fast I cant understand the accent*
Me: *gives an occasional nod every now and then but actually not listening at all* *when he laugh I also laugh*
*starts thinking: I really should start reading the newspaper or at least have some form of news input man..i’m so terrible in general knowledge!!*

-situation change-
a lot of ppl start coming in and man offers seat to a lady standing

Me: *happy!!!!* *no need to sit and hear him talk already* *starts taking out the mp3 and listen*

-after a few minutes-
Man: *starts taping me on the shoulder* hey do u know blablabla……..etc etc etc..
Me: *forced to remove earphones and listen*

And this continued all the way till we reached our destination..

Ok I’m like totally so super busy now that I’m back from holidays..yesterday night itself after I got home, I unpacked, bathed and immediately had to plan my 2nd sem timetable coz today can start booking adi. Today leh, had to book timetable, do grocery shopping, catch up with friends, prepare a song to be sung for passion booth during orientation, prac it with jac and cheahyen, skype with mum (which tak jadi coz I was practising with jac and cy until I totally forgot I had an ‘appointment’ with her), calculate how much I spent during my hols, re-deco my room with some stuff I bought, delegate which souvenir is for who, and etc..
I will try to find time to upload my pics. Bit by bit..i doubt I can finish uploading all 1 shot..i still have to get the pics from every1 1st..thats all for now..

my 1st blog to be posted from melbourne!! ~woo!
so, why am i so free to blog when i'm supposed to be holidaying around in melbourne? its bcoz they're all on the Great Ocean Road trip and since i've been there before i'll just skip this activity lor..that's why i'm blogging now to kill time..
1st night in melb and i received a bad news..well, not exactly BAD news..just sad news..that my cell is all split up and none of us are remaining under our cell leader anymore..ahh.so sad right..but then, the brighter side is that most of us are still put under the same cell though..but i'm without yeefang, jac and cheahyen adi..no more sitting together with the same gang of ppl during sunday service, no more eating lunch with the same gang of ppl, no more playing badminton with the same gang of ppl, no more going to freo, or steamboat or whatever else, with the same group of ppl..its sad, but i shall take this as a chance to get to know the rest of the ppl in church..coz like u can see above, a cell will do everything together and basically just live in out own world..so how can i get to know all the ppl in church if i just stay in the same cell?? so yea, i suppose its good to have rotations..
but i would really like to appreciate lawrence's cell members for everything they've done..for being there to share my problems, to hear me out when i'm down, to teman me play badminton when i always say i fat adi, to listen to my bekchek-ness with pharmacy, and how the printer boycott me, and most of all, to support and encourage me for idols..throughout the whole idol season, u all were there to be my practice audience, to choose the suitable baju, (fashion show in iris' house..) to choose the suitable song, and also to make me up..face, hair and all..will never forget the times we had..it'll be hard to re-group this gang of ppl for outings or what, but hey, there's msn right..keep in touch that way..
omg why i so sad in melb?? i'm supposed to be on holiday!! ok i shall stop emo-ing and enjoy the weather in perth..ahh the wind is so strong.. =)

have u ever experienced forgetting ur lyrics when u have to perform, or worse still, the tune altogether?? lyrics perhaps..but forgetting the tune of a song which u've been practising for dunno how many times sounds quite impossible right? but no..i'm here to testify that IT IS POSSIBLE!! that was what happened to me yesterday, in front of, i dunno..probably more than a 100 ppl!!

u see..yesterday the church had a combined cell meeting in conjunction with cell leaders' appreciation, which the cell leaders had no idea about..only the zone supervisors planned this and told all the cell members..so my cell came up with a cute (and kinda lame lame dei) song for my cell leader, lawrence..a few of us composed, and practised until we were so sick of the song!! and since there were 5 stanzas, 4 will be sung solo and the last stanza will be sung by everyone..i was supposed to sing the stanza i compose..but what happened?? i forgot how it sounded like!! i know it sounds stupid and impossible, since i've been singing it to myself the past dunno how many days..and for the song to sound as simple as just a nursery rhyme (though it wasnt a nursery rhyme tune), plus the other 3 ppl who sang their stanzas before me, i just went blank!! i started the 1st sentence, looking at the lyrics, but i couldnt finish the sentence!! i just FORGOT how the end of the sentence sounded like!! and reflex made me say "aiyok..how does this sound like ar? i forgot la..can i sing again??" *looking at crowd and blushing* they laughed.. (duh..)

then i tried again..i sang the 1st sentence, and i couldnt end it again!! "yor!! why i cannot remember wan??" i said it through the mic u know!! everyone burst out laughing again..i didnt even dare to look at lawrence's face..!! gosh..luckily for the 3rd time, all my cell members sang it with me..coz i didnt get the 1st line through still..so i just 'said' out the words, and went on with the other 3 sentences..luckily after passing the 1st sentence, the rest flowed properly..otherwise..

gosh after that i felt like digging a hole and bury my head in it and never come out and see the world with all its ppl again..God knows how long my face was red after that performance..oh actually yeefang knows..she was saying my face was so red i looked drunk..embarrassing ma!! and as Dr Andrew Crowe says, in a sympathetic reaction, u cant control it as it is part of the autonomic nervous system..he used face flushing as an example in the lecture hall that day.. "when u go red with embarrassment, u cant tell ur face to 'no dont go red, go away go away!' " *fanning his hands to his face* i happily illustrated this yesterday..the redness just wont go away till i think half an hour later..and even after that my face felt so hot..

this feeling of happiness that exams are over is just so nice..the relieve and the regurgitation of everything that my brain feels so empty now..i just love it..now i can shop till i drop, or should i say till my wallet allows me to..sleep in as late as i like, eat lunch and dinner and chit chat with ppl without bothering the need to get back to books, and most of all, stop appearing off9!! i've been appearing off9 for the past like 3 weeks..and i'm so sick of wanting to talk to ppl but having no time to chat at the same time..
exams are over, and i will only start worrying about results when they come out..and THEN, i shall start studying for any supp papers which i have to sit..oh yea, i think i did pretty badly in pharmaceutics and human bio..sad case..but yea..i think there's a possibility..praying hard that it wont happen la of coz..aih..
well now is not the time to think negatively, so i shall look forward to all the plans we have for the winter break!! just this week alone we will be having bbq, steamboat, shopping sprees, trips to the beach, and most of all, the trip to melb and sydney!! ~woo!!! looking forward to that man..but say 1st ya..to everyone who'll be seeing me after these 5 months, dont laugh k?? coz i fat liao..haha.. =P

i thought after coming here, i wont face discrimination anymore, but looks like i was so wrong!!

on monday during my last Health Science Communication (something like esls) class, i had to do my presentation on my research paper. i got kinda low marks but nevermind la i accept it..
after presentations, the tutor said there's another practice which the school of pharmacy wanted them to do on us, some sort of assessment to see how eloquent we were in speaking impromptu. half the class did this exercise a couple of weeks ago, so this last day was for the other half of the class. so a few of us stayed back for the test, including a canadian born chinese (spencer) and an arabian (i think) girl who has stayed in aus for quite some time (zahara). teacher turned towards them and said "u two are allowed to leave its ok.." so spencer and zahara were like blur blur and walked towards the door..but zahara turned back and said "but i havent done this exercise yet..?" teacher said "its ok..i know u can do it.." *nods her head*
when i heard that i felt so insulted!!i mean, what is this man?? if this is an assessment which the pharm school wants u to do on us, BE FAIR and assess everyone la!! how can u ASSUME who can do it and who cannot?? the only ppl left in the room were chinese..and all were either from msia, singapore or hongkong!! like so super obvious ok!! i really dont understand how tutors can behave like this..not to brag or what, but my english is not bad what..this is really the 1st time i'm being humiliated lidat ok..! was super bu suang with the tutor that day man..luckily it was last lesson adi n i dont have to see her face anymore! just because these ppl have the angmoh accent means they can talk very well la izit? throw them an impromptu situation and they may not be able to speak properly what..why only non-accent ppl get assessed?? discrimination..

True!haha..i know it sounds lame..but its bcoz last time I like F4 a lot..n then they have meteor garden ma..so I created a signature that says meteorlover. But I wanted a symbol. Since meteor is just a piece of rock, I cant be drawing that right..so star is the nicest thing I can draw in relation to space objects. N thats how I started liking stars..hehe..roger I know u asked me b4 that’s why I told u..bonus question 4 u la lidat..haha..

3. I used to love kindergarten so much I didnt want to go home.

just read yeam's blog and saw 2 nice nice pics of intec times..suddenly reminisce the fun n not-so-stressful life in intec last time..all d frenz n all d mamak sessions we used 2 hv..aih..

but neway, i cant believe wut happened in jz a matter of 2 days man..yday, my RA (residence assistance) came n asked me to perform 4 our vickery house's bash party in june..i nicely rejected..but later aft she had her meeting wif fellow RAs she came again n it seems another RA 'knew' dat i could sing n mentioned my name in d meeting n so my RA was 'ditugaskan' 2 approach me..aih..if she ownself ownself ask me i can reject la rite..but if all d RAs noe adi, so paiseh 2 reject rite?? like v action oni dun agree 2 do tis..so i mai agree lor..aih..

den wen i was happily taking a nap jz now a phone cal came n d conversation went like tis:

v happy now coz finish chemistry mid sem test..but results hvent come out yet tho..so cannot rejoice so soon..but nx 2 weeks r gonna b killer week coz i've human bio pamphlet due, pharmaceutical biology presentation, n pharmaceutics test soon!!omg..can die..
but we had sum fun tis week..moments where vickery hse unit 8 residents wil cherish 4eva..
namely r aishah's surprise midnite bday party in d wee hrs of 7th May..
n oso yeefang's super surprise bday party cum dinner in d evening of 8th May..1 she said was even beta den intec's bday party..haha..coz got 'visitors' ma..i oso cant bliff i had d guts 2 invite those ppl at 1st..but den tot she wud reali love it if they came..so i mai invite lor..haha..d shocked xpression on her face was my reward..haha..man was she super high dat nite..tambahan lagi got tiramisu cake made wif alcohol!! haha..cudnt sleep dat nite rite yeefang??!! haha..happy belated bday hamster!!
