i started my day wif pharmaceutics tutorial at 8. since mich n i in all d same classes, we decided 2 start off at 7.45..dats like 15 mins ok!!n vickery hse is d NEAREST 2 pharm faculty! n we ended up being late 2 class..y??coz we were so super sesated wif a few other ppl..so dem confusing la d building structures!! lead us 2 dunno go where wan d directions..we ended up pusinging 1 big round 2 come bek 2 where we started!!how's dat?! but we were oni bout 5 mins late la..but dat oso lecturer started adi..super punctual la these ppl..neway, tut was ok..n aft dat since chemi pracs start nx week, i had free time fr 9-1..so nice..i go bek sleep n den oni go meet yeefang 4 lunch in d main cafe..i'm like forcing myself 2 eat d 'specials' dat guild members get..everyday there's a special meal which oni costs 3.50 4 guild members..say, monday, there's tis hot dog n chips..d hot dog is pork, n eventho i noe its REAL pork, it looks so fake man!its so super red in colour, like those artificial meat 4 vegetarians wan!!n they squeeze sooo much tomato sauce in2 d bread its all soggy n so super sour!!i din finish d bread finally coz it was jz 2 sour..i bet xtine wil like it..or mayb she wudnt..i dunno..coz she hates sour things but she luvs tomato sauce..super contradicting..dun un her..hehe..n 2day was BEEF burger..demi save money..swallow oni la d beef..
neway, throughout lunch yeefang was like complaining bout her pharmaceutical LAB class which went horribly wrong!bcoz we're alloted seats n we cant change it, she got a back seat n so she cudnt hear instructions n directions 4 d prac..so she kept asking her new-found-fren in front of her, n started kena scolding fr lecturer!!n there r so many more 'stories' of how d lecturer bully her in class which i cannot put it in here coz its super long..haha..reali funny c her super pek chek face wen she's so angry wif her lecturer..but she reali freaked me out coz i was totally xpecting disaster wen my lab comes, which was later at 2-5!!but surprisingly, my lecturers were v nice, frenly n helpful..ntg like hers..hehe..n i'm v grateful bout dat..i dunno whether its my blur face or wut, at d v beginning of class, 1 of d lecturer looked at me n said "u look pretty scared..r u alright?" i was totally shocked!!haha..i noe i had tis pathetic face on coz i was super blur n i was separated so far away fr mich!!n i was sitting wif totallu unknown ppl, ppl who were not s frenly n approachable like others i've met so far..they kept 2 demselves n oni tok wen i ask dem q on how 2 do tis n dat..super scared ok..but d class was ok..we learnt how 2 measure stuff..n tis is REAL STUFF man..not like last time play play measure in d chemi lab, terpesong abit or alot oso nvm wan..tis wan mz super chun oni can!coz d life of d community is in our hands wor..coz we're brewing d medicine 4 u all 2 eat ma..dats our profession u c..hehe..so, trust me 2 make ur med anot??hehe..
neway, we had a chemi lecture b4 my pharm prac..n d lecturer super funny la!!haha..he's like botak botak dei wan..n wen he toks quite hard 2 follow coz he slurs his words, but overall ok la..he started lecture wif tis reali funny but sensible equation of his:
D = B x W
noe wut it stands 4?
degree = brains x work!
haha..funny rite??den he said W cannot b zero..n sum ppl hv big values of B so they might get away wif a smaller amount of W, but W mz b there nevertheless..hehe..
den he keeps asking q wan..2 every corner of d lecture theatre..1 of his q was "giv examples of organic compounds.." so ppl started giving answers like "amino acid!" "ethanol!" "carboxylic acid!" etc etc..but he kept saying "yes...yes...but i'm not looking 4 these answers..we're getting there..more general pls.." but we jz cudnt giv him d answer he wanted..
finally he show his answer which was "food, plastic, clothing.."
wut man!!so super general how we wan2 guess wor??n since he was using OHP d whole time, suddenly d OHP blackout n he tried 2 fix it n wen he cudnt, he said "oh bloody hell.." n jz started using d LCD..we were all laughing there n i tot..wow..tis lecturer super interesting la..sure i wun sleep wan if all his lectures so 'eventful'..haha..
lastly, 2moro i'm going 2 ocf's freshies welcome in esther's hse..gud nite and ciaoz..
