today i ate a sandwich and it was sooo wide!! hsiuli measured and it was about 6cm long..my mouth is so big.. =O

and the piece of bread is so big its nearly as big as my whole face so hsiuli says.. =D

The other day I was in the bus going to the city with my friends and the bus was so crowded that we had to split the sitting and therefore cant sit together. I was sitting beside this seemingly harmless man..then all of a sudden he started talking to me:
Man: Hello where are u from?
Me: Malaysia
Man: oh which part? Is it k-k-k..kl?
Me: not quite..abit to ther north of kl. In perak.
Man: perak??how do u spell that?can I find that on the map?
Me: P-E-R-A-K..yea I guess u can find it on the map..
Man: oh P-E-R-A-K..P-E-R-A-K..P-E-R-A-K *starts mumbling the spelling to himself over and over again..*
Me: *wants to take out the mp3 and listen but thinks its very rude*
Man: ok..so what’s that place? Izit like a town or something?
Me: no it’s a state.
Man: then what’s the town?
Me: Ipoh
Man: Sorry what was that? How do u spell that?
Me: Ipoh. I-P-O-H
Man: I-P-O-H..I-P-O-H.. can I find that in the map as well?
Me: yea I suppose u can.. *awkward smile*
*man keeps repeating ‘P-E-R-A-K..P-E-R-A-K..I-P-O-H..I-P-O-H..’ occasionally forgets and asks again*
*really feel like just plugging those earphones on*
Man: do u know the capital of Australia?
Me: Canberra right?
Man: yea yea that’s great u know it! U know the prime minister John Howard? He’s a lawyer..! *pause then starts laughing*
Me: *oh am I supposed to laugh??oh ok..* Hahahahaha…yea yea I heard of him..haha..
Man: he doesn’t stay in Canberra u know..he stays in bloody Sydney!!
Me: *wa..the time I went to Sydney it wasn’t bloody at all..!!*Man: and u know! Everytime he has to go to the parliament for a meeting they have to fly him all the way to Sydney!
*starts to bloody-fy everything he says..even the prime minister himself.. =S*
Me: *starts to freak out* *awkward laugh here and there*
Man: ….blablabla….so that’s where all our bloody taxes are going!!why cant he just stay in canberra??
Me: *thinks: how I know wor??? ask ur own prime minister la! Why ask me?? I don’t even know ur prime minister’s mansion and what he does and everything..*
Man: and oh, did Malaysia send armies to fight in the Iraq war?
Me: *WHAT?? There’s a war going on???* *thinks: Malaysia don’t support war war wan right..malaysia very good wan right..* erm..as far as I know, no I don’t think so..
Man: oh that’s great! I mean, why are we Australians sending armies in there for?? It’s the bloody US’s war! Not ours..! …blablabla.. *starts talking so fast I cant understand the accent*
Me: *gives an occasional nod every now and then but actually not listening at all* *when he laugh I also laugh*
*starts thinking: I really should start reading the newspaper or at least have some form of news input man..i’m so terrible in general knowledge!!*

-situation change-
a lot of ppl start coming in and man offers seat to a lady standing

Me: *happy!!!!* *no need to sit and hear him talk already* *starts taking out the mp3 and listen*

-after a few minutes-
Man: *starts taping me on the shoulder* hey do u know blablabla……..etc etc etc..
Me: *forced to remove earphones and listen*

And this continued all the way till we reached our destination..

With this, I end the story of “The Most Horrible Bus Ride to the City”
