i thought after coming here, i wont face discrimination anymore, but looks like i was so wrong!!

on monday during my last Health Science Communication (something like esls) class, i had to do my presentation on my research paper. i got kinda low marks but nevermind la i accept it..
after presentations, the tutor said there's another practice which the school of pharmacy wanted them to do on us, some sort of assessment to see how eloquent we were in speaking impromptu. half the class did this exercise a couple of weeks ago, so this last day was for the other half of the class. so a few of us stayed back for the test, including a canadian born chinese (spencer) and an arabian (i think) girl who has stayed in aus for quite some time (zahara). teacher turned towards them and said "u two are allowed to leave its ok.." so spencer and zahara were like blur blur and walked towards the door..but zahara turned back and said "but i havent done this exercise yet..?" teacher said "its ok..i know u can do it.." *nods her head*
when i heard that i felt so insulted!!i mean, what is this man?? if this is an assessment which the pharm school wants u to do on us, BE FAIR and assess everyone la!! how can u ASSUME who can do it and who cannot?? the only ppl left in the room were chinese..and all were either from msia, singapore or hongkong!! like so super obvious ok!! i really dont understand how tutors can behave like this..not to brag or what, but my english is not bad what..this is really the 1st time i'm being humiliated lidat ok..! was super bu suang with the tutor that day man..luckily it was last lesson adi n i dont have to see her face anymore! just because these ppl have the angmoh accent means they can talk very well la izit? throw them an impromptu situation and they may not be able to speak properly what..why only non-accent ppl get assessed?? discrimination..

11. Biology was my favourite subject in secondary school.
False.i prefered chemistry to anything else..hehe..yijia tembak still correct..goodss..fei, memang correct physics haters love biology, but i loved chemistry better..hehe..

12. Curtin idol's night was the 1st time i've ever received flowers.TRUE!!! haha..tricked many of u right..oni 6 of u got this correct man..siawtze, candy, lingweng, szeching, francis n xtine..haha..fei n wenjun, why "no way man!!"??haha..u all think i got so admirers meh now..aiyo.. =P

13. I keep a picture of my family in my purse.
False! haha..this 1 also trick sooo many of u..only 3 of u got this right man!!peifei, szeching n francis, congratulations!!haha..tembak wan or what?? no yijia u cannot check my purse coz that'd be cheating..candy, looks like u confirmed wrongly..hehe..fei, i got the 'feel' but i dont do it leh..haha..wenjun, ahem, i dont have LOADS of pics of myself ok..just 3..xtine, yea i took family pics, but i dont put them in my purse..hehe..

14. I slept right in front of my chinese tuition teacher throughout the whole lesson when it was a private class and there was just me and her.
True. hehe..yea nh, i know it sounds absurd, but it was really boring n i was tired that day..lau shi was nice enough to understand n didnt wake me up till mummy came..hehe..geng leh me..

15. My room in Ipoh is painted lavender white.
True. most of u got this correct. some sure tembak wan..but those who've been to my house should know la..yan, lavendar white is white with a thinge of bluish..so wenjun n xtine, not all white are the same according to paint companies..lawrence, i shall not blame u for not getting this correct coz u've never been to my house before.. =P

16. I loved watching power rangers when i was young.
TRUE!!i so like to watch power rangers man..i remember i had children's church on saturdays from 3-5 n i will rush home to watch it at 5!!hehe..so geng man they fly here fly there..but of coz, now i think they're abit lame..

17. I used to dislike wangleehom.
This is sooo true!!haha..i dunno why i dont like him singing the weiyi song..even until now!! i feel his voice like cacat-ed when he sing that song la..weird..sorry la yijia..hehe..now i like him lor ok??hehe..francis..u know n alot of other ppl know that i super totally cannot tahan jay chou ok.. *vomit* wenjun n xtine: shows that u all are listening to me when i talk..good good.. =)

18. My 1st 'idols' or motivation to sing was spice girls.
True to the max!! yes i loved spice girls last time..i also dunno why..hehe..but they made me like singing alot n i kept singing their songs when i was young..had my own 3-girl spice girls in standard 2, and the 3 of us went around performing..haha..so stupid la now to think of it..but yea, i liked them alot..yijia, what saint what..all saints la ok..but no, i didnt know of their existence when i was that young..fei ar..that time where got american idol..aiyo..

19. I've been to 4 different countries excluding malaysia.
False. I've been to 5 countries..xtine, u missed out thailand..hehe..so ive been to hongkong, china, singapore, thailand n australia.. (duh..)i dunno la those who answered false to this question tembak wan or got really count and KNOW where ive been before wan..

20. I got my 1st hp because i was going to national service.
True. ahh..thanks to ns i got my hp..1 of the advantageous of ns..haha..otherwise i dunno when only can get..parents also allowed me to have 1 so that they can contact me..

1. I called myself jayne because I loved reading 'peter and jane' when i was young.
False. I where got so siao about peter n jane wan..?? nooihoay!!how can u forget?? Haha Lawrence..itu ialah buku yang dibaca oleh budak budak kecil masa mereka mahu belajar membaca..hehe..

2. I like stars because of F4.
True!haha..i know it sounds lame..but its bcoz last time I like F4 a lot..n then they have meteor garden ma..so I created a signature that says meteorlover. But I wanted a symbol. Since meteor is just a piece of rock, I cant be drawing that right..so star is the nicest thing I can draw in relation to space objects. N thats how I started liking stars..hehe..roger I know u asked me b4 that’s why I told u..bonus question 4 u la lidat..haha..

3. I used to love kindergarten so much I didnt want to go home.
This is soooooo false man!!i checked n I realized 19 of u put true n only 3 put false..jane n joan, maybe u’ve heard my parents talking about it b4 at home, but nh, I’m pretty sure u tembak wan rite??haha..ppl..i hated kindergarten sooooo much, I cried EVERYDAY for dunno how many months ok..i hated it a lot..i never wanted to wake up in the morning..n I would cry whenever my dad dumps me there..lesson to b learnt: looks can b deceiving.. =P

4. My 1st ambition was to be a teacher because mummy is a teacher.
False. my 1st ever ambition when I was 7 or 8 was to b a singer..haha..later only it went on to teacher..only 5 of u got it correct. Peifei, jingguo, jane, david n joan. Haha fei, mummy bio teacher doesn’t mean I want to be 1 ma..no..no bonus mark for u..hehe..

5. I prefer driving manual cars than auto cars.
True. I prefer manual cars man..so much more interesting than auto..auto is easy la..but boring..i like to change gear I dunno why..eventhough the Nissan sanni’s gear so super hard to change.. =S half of u answered true n half answered false..teoyijia..u mean leg short rite..i dun use my hand to press the clutch ok..n if leg short can pull the chair to d most front wan ok..

6. I think pizza hut is the best.
Oh yea!!This is true..i like pizza hut.. =) those who knew the ‘changes’ that happened during my surprise bday party in intec should know the answer..esp the organizers..hehe..

7. I have a cousin in belgium.
False. Haha..i know I managed 2 trick a lot of ppl with this..i have cousinS in Belgium. not A cousin only..haha..even the ones in Belgium got tricked..everyone, introducing jane n joan, my cousinS in Belgium..both of u also got tricked ya..haha..joan joan, summore put ‘OF COURSE!’ there..haha..only 4 of u got this question right: yijia, yeefang, siawtze n yan. Sure tembak wan u all..haha..fei ar, jane n joan r both gurlz ok..

8. Books bore me.
False. Books sooo don’t bore me ok..i love reading books..esp novels n storybooks..kids books..blablabla..i like books ok..yijia, I wasn’t talking about text books here..

9. I think chad michael murray is cute.
True. I suppose a lot of u googled him to see whether he’s cute anot right..n judged him according to my standards..haha..yea he’s cute.. =) xtine, not only u think he’s lengchai la ok..haha..wenjun n francis, next time cannot blank blank ok..dunno also must shoot..nh, chad Michael murray is the main actor in 1 tree hill..

10. I'm a deep sleeper.
False. I sleep very lightly wan la!!a little bit of movement or sound also I will wake up adi wan..thats y I put my phone on silent when I sleep..n that also when it vibrates on the table most of th time I will b woken up by it..xtine, I got sleep v deeply meh??i know there was 1 occasion wen I just din wake up eventhough u called me a lot of times la..but that’s like xceptional rite..wenjun, can sleep till very late doesn’t mean I sleep deeply ok..david, this is the question which caused u ur mark..too bad la..u knew u shouldve put a false, n yet u put a true..aih..haha fei, nx time dun kacau kacau me wen I sleep..zzz..

just read yeam's blog and saw 2 nice nice pics of intec times..suddenly reminisce the fun n not-so-stressful life in intec last time..all d frenz n all d mamak sessions we used 2 hv..aih..

but neway, i cant believe wut happened in jz a matter of 2 days man..yday, my RA (residence assistance) came n asked me to perform 4 our vickery house's bash party in june..i nicely rejected..but later aft she had her meeting wif fellow RAs she came again n it seems another RA 'knew' dat i could sing n mentioned my name in d meeting n so my RA was 'ditugaskan' 2 approach me..aih..if she ownself ownself ask me i can reject la rite..but if all d RAs noe adi, so paiseh 2 reject rite?? like v action oni dun agree 2 do tis..so i mai agree lor..aih..

den wen i was happily taking a nap jz now a phone cal came n d conversation went like tis:

jiahuei: *sleepy* helllooo....?
caller: hello. is this jiahuei, the curtin idol finalist?
jiahuei: *perks up!* hmm? erm..yea..
caller: hi..this is i-cant-remember-his-name from AMS (something malaysian society-i think)..this thursday night we're having an event..its called mamak nite..we were thinking if u can perform for us?
(monologue) omg i cannot already man..jiahuei its time to be nasty n say no for ur own sake..
so
jiahuei: oh erm..i'm really sorry..i'm very busy this week n the following week..so sorry..my schedule is really packed..really sorry..
caller: oh..busy huh..its ok..really its ok..cya around..bye..
*falls back n wants to go back to sleep but woken up adi..*

v happy now coz finish chemistry mid sem test..but results hvent come out yet tho..so cannot rejoice so soon..but nx 2 weeks r gonna b killer week coz i've human bio pamphlet due, pharmaceutical biology presentation, n pharmaceutics test soon!!omg..can die..
but we had sum fun tis week..moments where vickery hse unit 8 residents wil cherish 4eva..
namely r aishah's surprise midnite bday party in d wee hrs of 7th May..
n oso yeefang's super surprise bday party cum dinner in d evening of 8th May..1 she said was even beta den intec's bday party..haha..coz got 'visitors' ma..i oso cant bliff i had d guts 2 invite those ppl at 1st..but den tot she wud reali love it if they came..so i mai invite lor..haha..d shocked xpression on her face was my reward..haha..man was she super high dat nite..tambahan lagi got tiramisu cake made wif alcohol!! haha..cudnt sleep dat nite rite yeefang??!! haha..happy belated bday hamster!!

it has been a v funny day 2day..dunno y hving all sorts of feelings..woke up being happy coz class starts at 2 n ends at 3..laughed alot while talking 2 linda who came 4 a visit..felt xcited in cell wen making plans 2 go 4 spiderman movie 2moro..but now dat i'm home, feeling down..i oso dunno y..come 2 think of it, i think i noe y..but its jz not supposed 2 b like tis..aih..i think i'm getting into d trend of emo-ing..reali feeling pretty mixed up..confused..lost..random..sleepy..gud nite..
